Stockholm, National Library of Sweden

There is a single manuscript now in the National Library of Sweden (in Swedish, Kungliga biblioteket, “The Royal Library”). It is also the oldest book known to have been commissioned for Magnús í Vigur, copied in 1654 when Magnús was still a very young man. The scribe, Þórður Jónsson, later provided several other manuscripts for Magnús. The manuscript is in quarto format, unlike many of his other larger folios produced in later decades.
